Job Description – Marketing Coordinator

SHIFT is looking for a motivated and savvy individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will assist the marketing team in many marketing communications, content development and social media projects. This can be a full-time or part-time role based on your schedule.



  • Manage social media accounts including content creation, management and implementation of social media content calendar
  • Engage with online influencers and thought leaders through social media to gain awareness for the SHIFT brand
  • Assist with research and execution of events, conferences, speaking opportunities and award submissions
  • Lead collateral creation; topic research, content creation, document design
  • Support email marketing and digital marketing programs
  • Conduct research projects including marketing research, competitive analysis and business opportunity research
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance or develop marketing and lead generation programs
  • Prepare presentations, conduct research to come up with needed examples and content
  • Work in our CRM (Salesforce) exporting data to assist our marketing and sales efforts
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed



  • Working towards or having a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media or a related Communications degree
  • 2-3 years’ experience working/interning in a marketing or social media function
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, assertive, proactive
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, capacity to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Professional experience in social networking channels, such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, GoToWebinar, Autopilot, Canvas, GoogleAdwords and Google Analytics is a plus, but not required



  • Role can be full-time or part-time based on your schedule. Willing to consider a candidate who is still in school and takes on role as an Intern, leading to a full-time position upon graduation
