Job Description – Marketing and Sales Coordinator

SHIFT is looking for a motivated and savvy individual to join our team as a Marketing and Sales Coordinator. This can be a full-time or part-time role.  Please indicate your availability when you submit your resume.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Assist with research and execution of events, conferences, speaking opportunities, and award submissions
  • Assist in collateral creation, ensure content is kept updated and organized in our database
  • Assist with email marketing and digital marketing programs
  • Conduct research projects including marketing research, competitive analysis, and business opportunity research
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance or develop marketing and lead generation programs to assist the sales team
  • Prepare presentations, conduct research to come up with needed examples and content
  • Assist in contract development, proposals, RFP creation, and supplier diversity/new vendor applications
  • Work in our database(Salesforce) reviewing and exporting data to assist our marketing and sales efforts
  • Assist with client and prospect meeting details
  • Assist with document drafting and editing
  • Create and edit sales deck templates
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING TO SHIFT:
  • Working towards or having a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Development
  • Prior experience working/interning in a marketing or sales function is a plus
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter
  • Track record of success
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, capacity to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Professional experience in social networking channels, such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems and GoToWebinar is a plus

Job Description – Client Development Manager

SHIFT is looking for an organized and driven individual to join our team as a Client Development Manager. As a Client Development Manager, you will take a consultative approach in helping our clients develop a comprehensive program specific to their specific training needs.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Prospecting for new clients through networking, cold calling, marketing, researching and following up on leads from events and speaking engagements
  • Identifying potential clients, and the decision makers within those organizations, and setting up meetings to evaluate their specific online training needs
  • Planning persuasive client pitches that will speak to the client’s needs and objectives and convince them to purchase SHIFT’s online training programs
  • Continuously be presenting new solutions and services to the client to grow the business
  • Understanding the market and key competitors, in order to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences, to network with potential clients on current market trends
  • Meeting and exceeding quarterly sales quota
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING TO SHIFT:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of enterprise sales experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Track record of success
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
