The primary role of the SHIFT Business Development Manager is to prospect for new training clients by networking, cold calling and utilizing SHIFT’s marketing channels. The candidate must then plan strategic approaches and pitches to engage potential clients to purchase SHIFT’s online training programs. The Business Development Manager must also present new solutions and services to clients and continue to manage and grow the relationship. The Business Development Manager will interface with prospects/clients who are mid and senior level HR management, legal counsel and business executives. This requires a thorough knowledge of the HR compliance or training industry, the solutions/services SHIFT can provide and of SHIFT’s competitors. Position is located in New Jersey.


  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

Sales Experience

  • At least 3+ years of enterprise experience
  • 1-2 years of sales experience in HR compliance training industry
  • Experience selling eLearning products and HR services preferred
